There’s nothing like a dope collaboration. After the recent drop on Pigeons and Planes of “So Slow” featuring King Chip, Anderson .Paak & Blended Babies shared their The Anderson .Paak EP a couple months ago.
From Chi City to LA, the experimental pair Blended Babies has been producing authentic sounds for years through well-known artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Ab-Soul and many others. Their resume continues to grow at a legendary pace.
Anderson .Paak is a smooth-retro-stylistic-lyricist that has been putting on so tough even Dr. Dre had to see what the buzz was about. The Oxnard, CA native blessed Dr. Dre’s ‘final’ album. Paak blessed Compton with his songwriting finesse on roughly six tracks, from “Animals” to “Medicine Man” and “Deep Water” with Kendrick Lamar.
The Anderson .Paak EP is exclusively produced by Blended Babies — artists King Chip, Asher Roth and Donnie Trumpet will grace the project as features.
Anderson .Paak said, “The music speaks for itself. I was able to tap into some deep blues working with Blended Babies. They brought out some personal stories and also some shit to ride to.”
“Make It Work” with Asher Roth and Donnie Trumpet was one standout that blessed my ears. Take a listen.
