Ron Beatty‘s just a hometown guy with major dreams of taking on the hip-hop game — since the recent release of his “Heard About Me” visual, the North Carolina native is a getting closer.
The single is a track off his forthcoming project, Manifest Destiny. Ever since the drop of his EP, The Empty Theatre, Beatty has been seeing some major results.
His journey just so happened to cross paths with Grammy award winning artist J. Cole’s mentors Noland Hicks and All-Terrain Music’s own Nervous Reck and Bobwire.
Some of the rapper’s musical influences are Kanye West, Outkast and the entire Dungeon Family, Goodie Mobb, Geto Boys just to name a few.
This video takes place mostly on a misty country side with visual takes at a huge cabin pad overlooking mountains and forestry. There’s a part in the video where he appears to be in a Tennessee Whiskey distillery when he says, “homemade moonshine…”
Ron Beatty recently moved from his beautiful and historic hometown of New Bern also known as “the Athens of the South” to Atlanta in order to take his career to the next level. There’s no doubt life is getting grand with this rising star!
