Over the years I’ve known Scotty ATL from the Eastside, I’ve realized his growth, even moreso than he does, I think. Since the Summer Dreams joint, the Decatur-bred rapper has increasingly been out doing himself.
His most recent joint ‘Trash & Treasure’ — produced by Peso Piddy — is further proof of that fact. He’s always been on some ‘homeboy,’ relatable sh*t on wax and here he spits even more of what makes him a different type of emcee. There are lines that speak to whether or not this path to stardom will prove to be beneficial, a couple bars that note some hefty feelings of guilt… Damn Scotty. Diary of a real n*gga one time, for real.
Scotty ATL’s next project Spaghetti Junction is on its way.
**Also, in case you missed it, this ‘Bad Boy 97’ is riding pretty tough too… See how thoughtful I am?
