Common: “Seems like to me, in rap, there’s a certain boundary that you can’t pass with your expressions and I think the boundaries are starting to get broken down more, but when I came with ‘Electric Circus,’ people were like, “Aww, man. What is this?” And I’ll say, maybe some songs could’ve been better, but there was still some good music on there.”

Waka on Triple F, his “brother” French and KRIT being his new favorite- My homie Rustin Moore of Alumni Roundup actually filmed this and I think he did an amazing job. He’s actually on Tumblr too if you wanna look him up… Anyway, he hit me that Saturday like, ‘I know you going to that Waka show. I want in.’ LOL. I actually wasn’t but I figured, ‘Hey. Maybe I can get some work done.’ I was shocked when he pulled his camera out while I was interviewing. The sight of myself on camera still freaks me out kinda. Ha! Enjoy.

Pill on MMG Rumors: “I just got off from texting Wale, congratulating him on his number one single. People just try to stir s— up on their own accord sometimes and you know how that goes. People love controversy and I don’t mind being the butt of the controversy, but I just pay it no mind, you know what I’m saying?”

Waka on French Montana’s Signing: “My thoughts on French Montana signing with Bad Boy?” Waka says. “I think that’s amazing. I feel like we made it, ’cause that’s my brother. Not like my best friend — that’s my brother.”

V Nasty: “We worked together on it in the studio most of the time. It’s been great,” she said, beaming. “Gucci Mane’s my favorite rapper.”

A Young Jeezy’s Christmas: “Everybody used to go over to my grandmother’s house, that was the biggest thing we ever did. Go over there and get the rest of your presents… Because you know, grandma gon’ have the rest of the shit, then it got to a point where I was so young but so grown, the presents stopped coming, you know? [laughs] I was 12, and they were like, ‘Nigga, you grown now. Shit, what you want?'”

2 Chainz: “I wasn’t gonna stop until somebody paid me some attention so… I’m one of those guys who just felt like they were talented and I just had to figure out where to connect the dots with my fans and people respect it and how to get those dots to connect outside of my industry peers and how to build a real fanbase that understand what I do and the music I make.”
